By public transportation: Take the Tube to Camden Town station and then follow a 15-minute walk north on Parkway and Prince Albert Road to the zoo's entrance.
By taxi: You can also request a ride-hailing service to ZSL London Zoo from anywhere in London. It's a famous destination and most drivers will be familiar with the location.

Tickets: Bring your entry tickets, either in print or digital form on your phone, for a smooth entry experience.
Valid Photo ID: Carry a valid photo ID like your passport or ID for identity verification.
Cash and Card: Have some cash for small purchases; many vendors also accept cards.

*We always want to make sure that London Zoo is a safe and secure place to visit. In line with increased security measures being implemented across the UK, we will be carrying out bag checks at the Zoo entrance. We would recommend, wherever possible, you leave large bags at home. As well as bag checks we will be carrying out person screening upon entry and we have various other security measures you cannot see.
Feel free to wear your everyday attire and simply enjoy! Casual clothing is the perfect choice, allowing you to feel relaxed and fully immerse yourself in the experience. Be yourself, accentuate your style, and relish every moment!
While there is no specific age restriction for entry, please note that children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult to be admitted to the zoo. Additionally, children under 3 years old are eligible for free entry. We welcome families and individuals of all ages to enjoy the diverse and captivating experiences at London Zoo.

The Terrace Restaurant
- Tantalise your taste buds in our indoor restaurant, which offers both sit-down and takeaway options, plus hot drinks and pastries.
- Open from 10am for visitors to sit in and have a hot drink and snack. Hot food is served from 11.30am-2.30pm.
Zoo Treats
- The perfect spot for pastries, hot drinks and sandwiches on the go.

Peckish Parrot Café
- Feeling peckish? Pop by for sandwiches, cakes or a Little Keepers lunch box. Find it in our Animal Adventure area. Outdoor picnic benches are available.

- Pop by our woodland kiosk for a hot drink or snack.
